Creating Sacred Spaces for Transformation, Belonging, and Joy
A Ministry Born From A Lifetime of Accompaniment
Bonnie Violet Rae Quintana’s ministry has been shaped by decades of walking alongside communities through moments of change, challenge, celebration, and transformation.
From HIV advocacy and community organizing to trans liberation, spiritual care, and storytelling, Bonnie Violet has dedicated her work to creating spaces where people do not have to leave parts of themselves behind in order to belong.
As the creator of A Queer Chaplain, founder of Trans Joy Boise & alpha, and creator of Drag & Spirituality, Bonnie Violet brings together spirituality, creativity, and community care in a way that honors the complexity and beauty of human experience.
At the heart of this ministry is a simple belief:
Every person carries something sacred.
Every story deserves to be witnessed.
Every community is invited to create belonging.
This ministry exists to create spaces where people can bring their whole selves — where stories are honored, identities are respected, and people are reminded that they belong.
Through spiritual care, storytelling, ritual, and community connection, A Queer Chaplain invites us to recognize the sacredness within ourselves and one another.
